Done by hand

Done with the generator: https://ashcroft.neocities.org/devcardcreator

Every card is an indie dev. The front is the dev; the back is their game.
Every card can be played three ways:
As a Game
As a Dev
OR As a Modifier.
Once played one way, it stays that way.

Cards
Front (Dev side): Name, Discord handle, photo, Skill scores, Type + Type ability, Weakness, bio.
Back (Game side): Game name and genre, bio, three Challenge types (e.g., Ashcroft: Music / Programming / Animation), a 2D or 3D tag, and one Modifier ability.
Setup
Each player a starting hand of 5 cards. Players may look at both faces of cards in their hand at any time.
Pick a first player (suggested: whoever shipped a game most recently; ties broken by least sleep last night).

Playing the Game
The game lasts 5 rounds, or ends early if the deck and all hands run out.
Each round, in turn order, every player:
Draws 2 cards.
Plays exactly 2 cards, in any combination of the three modes below. You may play cards onto any game on the table, including games other players started.
The Three Ways to Play a Card

1. As a Game. Place the card game-side up in the middle of the table. It is now an open project. Its three Challenge types define which Skills can score on it. Any player may staff it. A game with no devs on it at the end scores nothing for anyone.
2. As a Dev. Place the card dev-side up, tucked under any Game in play, marked so it's clear the dev is yours (keep your devs oriented toward you, or use tokens). That dev now works on that project and will score for you — and only you — at the end. Devs cannot move once placed. Type abilities and Weaknesses are always on. If you have 3 of your Devs on a project, you may not place any more.
. As a Modifier. Place the card game-side up, rotated sideways, tucked under any Game in play. Only its Modifier text applies — its challenges, tag, and everything else are ignored. The modifier affects that Game and every dev on it, friend or foe, for the rest of the game. Limit: one Modifier per Game. A card played as a Modifier can never score.

Scoring (End of Round 5)
Score each Game on the table separately:
For each of the Game's three Challenge types, each player identifies their single highest-scoring dev on that Game in the matching Skill. One dev per Challenge — the same dev cannot fill two Challenge slots for you unless an ability says otherwise (e.g., Solo Dev).
Apply all active Modifiers, Type abilities, and Weaknesses. A dev whose Weakness disqualifies them from a Challenge contributes 0 to that slot.
Sum your three Challenge values. That is your score for that Game.
The player with the highest total on a Game wins that Game. Ties: the tied player with fewer devs on the Game wins (efficiency beats headcount). Still tied: shared win.
The player who wins the most Games wins the whole thing. If that's tied, the tied player with the highest single Game score takes it.
